WHS OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY
Trimlec Electrical is committed to providing and maintaining, so far as is reasonably practicable, a safe and healthy workplace for all workers, contractors and other persons affected by our activities. Trimlec Electrical will, so far as is reasonably practicable, prevent work-related injuries and illnesses by identifying, assessing and controlling workplace hazards and OH&S risks, consult with workers on health and safety matters, comply with applicable legal and OH&S requirements, establish safety objectives and continually improve workplace safety performance, investigate incidents and implement corrective actions, provide appropriate training, instruction, information and supervision, provide suitable resources, equipment and PPE, conduct workplace inspections and reviews, and maintain a Safety Management System appropriate to the company's activities
SCOPE
This policy applies to all Trimlec Electrical employees, contractors, subcontractors, apprentices, trainees, labour hire personnel, work experience students and volunteers ("Workers"). The policy applies to all Trimlec Electrical worksites, offices, vehicles and any off-site location where work is performed on behalf of the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Management is responsible for providing leadership and resources for OH&S, ensuring the Safety Management System is implemented and maintained, conducting risk assessments and implementing appropriate controls, providing workers with suitable safety information, training and supervision, and responding promptly to hazards, incidents and safety concerns.
All Workers are responsible for following company OH&S procedures and safe work practices, using PPE correctly, taking reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others, reporting hazards, incidents, injuries and near misses promptly, and participating in required training, consultation and safety activities.

MONITOR AND REVIEW
This policy will be reviewed periodically to reflect changes in business operations, legislation, workplace risks or company requirements, and at least every two (2) years from the date of adoption.
